Why 7 mm changes how a chain reads
Most men's chains sit between 4 and 5 mm. At 7 mm the Titan is deliberately past that, and the difference is not subtle — it holds its line across the collarbone instead of following the neck, so it reads as a deliberate piece rather than an accent. That is also why it is built on 316L: at this width a softer metal would deform with wear.
At 40 cm plus a 5 cm extension it sits high, which is the length this width needs. A heavy link hanging low stops looking intentional.
