What Erba Pura smells like

Xerjoff describes Erba Pura as wandering a Mediterranean old town at golden hour, and the composition follows that literally. Lemon, Calabrian bergamot and Sicilian orange open it clean and sparkling; the heart is a deliberately unspecified Mediterranean fruit accord, sweet and slightly candied; and the base of amber, Madagascar vanilla and white musk keeps everything soft and skin-close for hours. It is a simple structure executed with expensive materials, which is exactly why it works.

Top notes are Lemon, Calabrian Bergamot and Sicilian Orange; the heart is Mediterranean Fruit; the base settles on Amber, Madagascar Vanilla Beans and White Musk.

When to wear it

Unisex, and one of the few niche fragrances that genuinely thrives in Egyptian heat. Excellent for daytime, outings and weddings, and it stays pleasant into the evening. It is at its best in spring and summer, and still works well in autumn.
