Description
Orto Parisi Terroni Parfum — Parfum, 50 ml. Alessandro Gualtieri's ode to soil and roots — earthy, resinous and unapologetically loud, for people who find conventional perfumery boring.
What Terroni smells like
Terroni is built to smell like the ground rather than a garden. A short tart flash of raspberry is the only concession to sweetness; underneath it sit birch, guaiac wood, vetiver, cedar, patchouli and moss in a dense, dry, almost mineral mass, with benzoin, tonka and vanilla adding just enough resinous warmth to keep it wearable. Orto Parisi is Gualtieri's own house, and Terroni is one of its most uncompromising releases: it does not blend into a room, and it is not meant to.
The composition is built from Raspberry, Birch, Amber, Benzoin, Guaiac Wood, Vetiver, Cedar, Patchouli, Musk, Moss, Tonka and Vanilla.
When to wear it
Evenings and cool weather. This is a deliberate, high-impact choice — one or two sprays maximum, and not the fragrance for a closed office. It is at its best in winter and autumn, it is a harder wear in summer.
